This Privacy Policy explains how Powerful Ebikes LLC, located at 30 N Gould St Ste R, 82801 (“n8n Designer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal data when you use:
- https://n8ndesigner.com and https://merchant.n8ndesigner.com
- The n8n ai application available through the Salla App Store
- The n8n-nodes-n8ndesigner-salla-n8nai package
- Our related APIs, webhooks, dashboards, documentation, and support services
By installing the application, creating an account, connecting your Salla store, or using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy.
1Our data-protection roles
Our role depends on the data and processing activity.
Merchant-account data
Powerful Ebikes LLC generally acts as the data controller for information used to create and administer your account, provide support, secure the platform, and manage our relationship with you.
Salla store and customer data
For order, customer, product, shipment, and other store data processed through merchant-configured workflows, the merchant generally acts as controller and n8n Designer acts as processor or service provider on the merchant’s instructions.
The merchant is responsible for the lawful basis, required privacy notices, customer requests, and legal compliance of its automations.
2Personal data we collect
2.1 Account and merchant information
We may collect your name, email address, optional telephone number, Salla user and merchant/store identifiers, store and business details, user role or administrative authorization, account status, preferred language, and information needed to manage your account and subscription.
On first installation, login information may be sent to the email linked to the Salla account used for installation. Passwords are securely stored in a protected, unreadable form and may be changed or reset at any time.
2.2 Authorization and credential information
To connect Salla and n8n, we may process Salla OAuth access and refresh tokens, approved permissions and scopes, token-expiry details, merchant API keys, webhook secrets, custom authentication headers, n8n endpoint URLs, and connection or authorization status.
We use this information to authenticate requests, maintain authorized connections, forward events, and execute workflow-initiated operations.
2.3 Salla store events and payloads
Subject to your approved permissions and enabled events, we may process data about orders and statuses; customers and groups; products, inventory, variants, and categories; brands, coupons, and offers; carts and abandoned carts; shipments and delivery; invoices and transactions; settings and branches; reviews and feedback; webhook events; application installation and authorization; subscription events; and other approved Salla resources.
Event payloads may include customer or other individual data such as names, contact details, addresses, orders, and transaction information. We process it only as needed to receive, validate, route, forward, monitor, or retry events under your configuration.
2.4 Commands and actions received from n8n
For Salla actions requested by your n8n workflow, we may process the operation, resource identifiers, request parameters and store data, authentication information, request and response status, Salla API responses, errors, and execution timestamps.
This data is used to execute the instructions configured in your workflows.
2.5 Subscription information
Salla manages n8n ai payments and subscriptions and may provide subscription status, plan name and type, trial status, start and end dates, renewal, cancellation and expiry events, and information needed to apply features and limits.
We do not directly collect or store payment-card information for subscriptions purchased through the Salla App Store.
2.6 Technical and usage information
We may automatically collect IP address; browser, device, and operating-system details; login, session, and access times; pages and features used; API routes and operations; request identifiers and response codes; rate-limit and performance data; error and security events; and activity or audit logs.
We use this information to operate, secure, monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.
2.7 Support communications
When you contact us, we may collect your name and contact details, message content, screenshots and attachments, store or account identifiers, diagnostic data, and other information you choose to provide.
Remove unnecessary customer data, passwords, tokens, and other confidential credentials before sending a support request.
2.8 Cookies and similar technologies
We may use cookies or similar technologies for authentication, secure sessions, preferences, fraud prevention, performance measurement, and usage analysis. Where required, optional analytics or marketing cookies are used only with appropriate consent.
2.9 AI assistant connections
When you connect an AI assistant (for example ChatGPT or Claude) to your merchant account through the n8n Designer MCP connector, we process:
- The email address and password you enter on our sign-in page. The password is used once to open a panel session on your behalf and is not stored.
- The resulting panel session, stored in encrypted form and linked to the connection, so the assistant can act for you without your password.
- Connection details: the name of the AI application, your masked email address, your Salla store identifier, the time the connection was created and last used, and access tokens stored in hashed form.
- Security logs of sign-in attempts and connector requests (IP address, time, outcome).
We do not receive or store the content of your conversations with the AI assistant.
3How we collect personal data
We may collect data directly from you; from your Salla account; through Salla events and APIs; from your n8n instance and workflows; through the merchant platform or support communications; automatically through logs and cookies; and from service providers acting for us.
4How we use personal data
We may use personal data to create and administer accounts; send initial login details and account notices; authenticate users and API requests; connect Salla and n8n; receive, process, and forward webhooks; execute workflow actions; manage approved permissions, subscriptions, and plan limits; operate queues, retries, and rate limits; and monitor event delivery and action results.
We may also use it to provide support; detect fraud, misuse, and security incidents; maintain audit records; protect Service availability and integrity; diagnose issues; improve performance and functionality; create aggregated or de-identified analytics; communicate material updates; comply with law and regulatory requests; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We do not sell or rent personal data. We do not use store-event content for unrelated advertising or independently contact a merchant’s customers unless legally permitted and separately authorized.
5Legal bases for processing
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, processing may rely on consent; performance of our agreement; steps requested before entering an agreement; legal or regulatory obligations; legitimate interests not overridden by individual rights; protection against fraud, abuse, and security threats; or another lawful basis.
Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it, subject to applicable legal and contractual limits.
6How the integration processes data
Triggers
When an approved Salla event occurs, Salla may send its payload to n8n Designer. We process and forward relevant data to the n8n endpoint configured for your merchant account, after which it is handled in the n8n environment controlled by you or your host.
Actions
When your n8n workflow sends a supported instruction, n8n Designer processes it and submits the corresponding action to Salla. Requests and responses may be temporarily stored or logged for security, troubleshooting, delivery, and audit.
Your n8n environment
Your n8n instance may be self-hosted or managed by another provider. We do not control data security, retention, or use after delivery to your endpoint. You must protect that environment and ensure connected workflows and services process data lawfully.
7How we share personal data
Salla
We exchange data with Salla to authorize the application, receive store events, execute actions, and manage subscriptions.
Your n8n platform and configured endpoints
We forward event data to the n8n URL or other destination you configure.
Connected services selected by you
Your workflows may send data to applications, databases, messaging platforms, AI services, or other destinations you select. You are responsible for those connections.
AI assistant providers you connect
When an AI assistant acts on your behalf through the MCP connector, the information it requests from your account — such as endpoint names and URLs, routing rules, masked API key identifiers, connection status and delivery logs, and any API key you ask it to create — is returned to that assistant and becomes part of your conversation with its provider (for example OpenAI or Anthropic). The provider processes it under its own terms and privacy policy, which we do not control. Nothing is sent to a provider except in response to requests the assistant makes on your instructions, and you can end the sharing at any time by removing the connector or changing your password.
Service providers
We may use trusted providers for cloud hosting and storage, email delivery, security and monitoring, error reporting, customer support, backup and recovery, and technical infrastructure. They may process data only as needed for contracted services and must meet applicable confidentiality and data-protection duties.
Professional advisers and authorities
We may disclose data to legal advisers, auditors, insurers, courts, regulators, law-enforcement bodies, or government entities when necessary or legally required.
Business transfers
Data may transfer during a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or sale of all or part of the Service, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not authorize third parties to use merchant or customer data for their own unrelated advertising.
8International data transfers
Powerful Ebikes LLC, its service providers, Salla, your n8n host, or workflow applications may process data in different countries.
For transfers of Saudi personal data outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we apply legally required safeguards, which may include necessity limits; destination and risk assessments; contractual protections; authority-approved standard clauses; transfers to adequately protected countries or entities; or another recognized transfer mechanism.
You control the location of your n8n server and connected services and are responsible for ensuring your chosen destinations meet applicable transfer requirements.
9Data retention
We retain personal data only as reasonably necessary to provide and secure the Service, resolve disputes, and meet legal duties.
Retention varies by category: account data may remain while active and for a reasonable period afterward; OAuth tokens and credentials until expiry, revocation, or disconnection; event, action, delivery, and audit logs according to plan, operational, and security needs; support records for case resolution and service history; subscription records for financial, contractual, and legal needs; and backups until normal rotation removes them.
When no longer required, data is deleted, anonymized, or securely isolated unless law requires continued retention. Uninstalling the app or closing an account may not immediately remove data from active logs, legal or security records, or backups.
AI assistant connections are kept until you remove the connector, change your password, or we revoke them. Access tokens expire after one hour and refresh tokens after ninety days; expired or revoked tokens are deleted shortly afterwards.
10Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, which may include encryption in transit; encryption of sensitive tokens and credentials; secure password hashing; access and permission controls; authentication and API-key controls; activity and audit logs; network and infrastructure protection; monitoring and incident response; backups and recovery; and security updates and vulnerability management.
No online platform, cloud service, API, webhook, or storage system is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your Salla and email accounts, merchant credentials, API keys, n8n instance, workflows, devices, and connected services.
If a personal-data breach occurs, we will assess it and notify affected merchants, individuals, or competent authorities where required by law.
11Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law and permitted exceptions, you may have rights to be informed; access your data; receive a clear, readable copy; correct, complete, or update inaccurate data; request destruction where legally available; withdraw consent; and submit a complaint.
Send requests to support@n8ndesigner.com. We may verify your identity and authority. Requests about customer data controlled by a Salla merchant may be referred to that merchant.
We may retain information needed to meet legal duties, prevent fraud, secure the Service, establish legal claims, or exercise other legally permitted rights.
12Marketing and service communications
We may send essential notices about account creation, login and security, application authorization, subscription status, Service interruptions, technical changes, policy updates, and support requests. These communications are necessary to provide and secure the Service.
Marketing is sent only where permitted. You may unsubscribe through the provided link or by contacting us; this does not stop essential Service communications.
13Automated workflows
The Service enables merchant-configured automations. n8n Designer does not independently determine their logic, recipients, content, or consequences. Merchants must ensure automated decisions and actions involving customers comply with law and include human review where required.
14Children’s privacy
The Service is for businesses and authorized adult representatives, not children. We do not knowingly create merchant accounts for children. If you believe a child submitted personal data directly to us, contact support@n8ndesigner.com.
15Third-party websites and applications
The Service may link to or integrate with third parties. Their own privacy policies govern their processing, and we are not responsible for the privacy, security, or content practices of services we do not control.
16Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy for changes to the Service, processed data, Salla or n8n requirements, service providers, security practices, or applicable laws and regulations.
We will publish the revised Policy with a new “Last updated” date and provide additional notice where legally required or where a change materially affects processing.
